In the first incident, a 21-year-old man was carjacked while sitting in his parked blue Toyota 86 outside a home on Seven Hills Way in Baulkham Hills about 8.15pm on June 20.
“The pair demanded the 21-year-old get out of the car, before they got in and drove away in an easterly direction,” NSW Police said in a statement.
In a separate incident a few weeks later two men inside a black Audi Q5 were targeted,
The 32-year-old and 37-year-old were parked on Richmond Road in Blacktown about 11.30pm on July 5 when they were approached by two men.
“The pair – both with their faces covered – allegedly threatened the men inside with a firearm and demanded the keys to the SUV, before they exited the car and the unknown men drove off along Richmond Road,” police said.
“It’s understood the two masked men may have arrived at the Blacktown location in a blue Toyota Corolla earlier in the evening.”
