A childcare worker has been charged with allegedly assaulting a toddler multiple times at a Doonside centre in Sydney’s west earlier this month.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested and charged yesterday following an investigation by officers from Blacktown Police Area Command.

Police received a report on Monday, detailing allegations that a worker had repeatedly assaulted a young child at the Doonside centre on October 13, 2025.

Following inquiries, the 28-year-old was charged with five counts of common assault.

She is set to appear before Blacktown Local Court on December 4.
